Medicare

For those referred by a GP under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan, Medicare will rebate up to five (5) sessions per year for allied health services recommended by your Doctor to help manage your health. Though this is a fantastic program, I believe that 5 sessions over the span of an entire year is too few. So, like everything else at Cane and Able, I decided to put my actions first to make the change I want to see. Here's just a few ways I'm doing things differently to better support my clients. 

1. I completely bulk-bill ($0 out of pocket fee) all of your referred care plan sessions for a full 60-minute consult. Bulk-billing can be a rarity these days, and on top of that most providers only offer the Medicare minimum required 20 minutes for each session, but I've decided to go far beyond that to put my clients first.

2. I also offer a free, yes Free (no strings attached), additional session after the completion of every care plan.

3. After the completion of your care plan and free additional session, you can also access my private services at 25% below my already ultra-low fee for up to five (5) sessions.

4. Ongoing support via periodic check-ins between sessions to keep you on track, answer questions, and offer support where needed.

Discounted Sessions (For up to 5 sessions after the completion of all CDM Plan and free additional session)

60 Minutes - $62.50 ($55 with concession card)*

* = Please be aware that these prices are only available for up to five (5) private sessions after completion of all your CDM Plan sessions. Appointments after the completion of both your Medicare and discounted private sessions will be charged at my standard, but still ultra-low rate, of $85 per 60 minute session.

To access Exercise Physiology through Medicare you must have a GP referral through a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan (or similar relevant care plan) that states Exercise Physiology as a recommended therapy.
