Whether you have private health or not, Cane and Able has you covered with super low fees, extended hours, and ongoing support. So you can focus less on being able to afford essential exercise therapy to rehab that recent injury or manage a chronic illness, and focus more on taking control of your health.
I strongly believe in exercise as medicine and using evidence-based exercise therapy to treat or manage a wide variety of injuries, illnesses and disabilities. This care should be focused on the client's goals, be outcome-based, and use established best practice guidelines to be the highest quality and value for the client. This is what I think true healthcare should be and I'm dedicated to providing it in my services.
This commitment starts from your very first session with me, which includes a comprehensive health screening and assessment where we'll work together to understand what your individual goals are, how we can measure them, and what might work best for you - no one-size-fits-all approach. This initial assessment process is vital to create a baseline so we can compare against it and see how you've progressed in the future.
I'll then take all this information and the results from your assessments and develop a tailored exercise prescription and plan to target all of the areas that you've indicated are important to you.
On your next appointment and over the next 12 weeks, I will supervise and work together with you 1-on-1 to go through your program in the clinic. If you're interested in knowing the "why" behind your exercises, I'll also teach you the reasoning and evidence behind your workouts so you can develop a deeper understanding of and a greater control over your health.
30 Minutes - $40
60 Minutes - $80
If you are covered under private health, you may receive a partial or full rebate on the cost of your Exercise Physiology sessions. As my fees are far lower than the majority of other providers, your rebate may more than cover the entirety of the cost - meaning that your cover will go much further. However, please consult your private health fund and/or your individual plan to confirm your cover and any rebates before you make a booking.
Please contact your private health fund before your appointment to confirm that Exercise Physiology is covered, and to what extent, under your plan.
You can see fact sheet of all major private health funds that cover Exercise Physiology here. This is only intended as a reference guide and should not be used as a substitute for contacting your private health fund for individualised advice.
